1. Parent's Night Out: Camp Fundraiser! Drop the kids off and have an evening to celebrate Valentine’s Day! On Feb. 14, from 5pm-8pm in our children’s area, CTL will offer a ‘Parent’s Night Out’ event where CTL's High School Youth Group students will watch kids (infant-5th grade) for a free will donation as a summer camp fundraiser so parents can celebrate Valentine's Day. (Children’s Director Katie Poethig will be there to supervise as well!) There is not a set amount, but if you feel called and are able to give, it’s for such a great ministry opportunity! Parents are asked to RSVP ahead of time by emailing crossthelinekatie@gmail.com with your name(s) and the name(s) of your child(ren)! We can’t wait - spread the word!
2. CIY 'SuperStart!' w/ CTL! Do you have a 5th or 6th grader? It's that time of year again! Send them to CIY 'SuperStart!' in Omaha with Cross the Line Church! This camp is a high-energy, super-fun weekend on March 6-7 intentionally crafted just for 5th and 6th graders to help them grow their faith and ministry in early middle school! They will hear the Gospel, learn Biblical truths, and gain an understanding of being called to a life of Kingdom work! The event is put on by CIY (Christ in Youth) and is hosted at Calvary Christian Church (10104 Cedar Island Rd Bellevue, NE 68123) Students and sponsors will NOT stay the night in Omaha. Instead, we will meet at CTL and transport from there. We will leave Friday, March 6, at 5pm and return approximately between 10pm-11pm (we will text parents when we leave). We will then leave Saturday, March 7th, at 7am and return approximately between 1pm-2pm. Cost for the event is $65, plus we ask that students are sent money for lunch on Saturday (approximately $10-$15). If your student wants to buy any merch (not required), please provide for that as well (t-shirts are usually around $20, but there are a lot of smaller / cheaper items as well!) SPOTS ARE LIMITED, so please register as soon as you can! To register your child(ren), or if you have any questions, please email Children's Director Katie Poethig at crossthelinekatie@gmail.com Check out their website for more information and to see what it's all about: https://ciy.com/superstart
